How Do Clear Aligners Work?

  • Clinical Records: We’ll take your clinical records and review your treatment plan.
  • 3D Scan: We’ll use a 3D scanner to capture a digital model of your mouth.
  • Custom Movement Plan: Dr. Badawi will create a customized movement plan based on the 3D model.
  • Aligner Fabrication: Our lab will fabricate your aligners, ready within a week.
  • Optimized Aligners: Smile Elements provides hyper-optimized aligners that gently and consistently shift your teeth into their ideal positions.
  • Achieve a Perfect Smile: Our aligners ensure you achieve a perfect smile.

How Long Should I Expect my Treatment to Last

The treatment duration depends on the complexity of your case, typically ranging from 12-18 months, and also on your compliance with wearing the aligners. You’ll receive trays to wear in sequential order, switching to a new aligner every two weeks.

How Do Clear Aligners Compare to Metal Braces?

Contrary to popular belief, clear aligners are more capable in resolving dental malocclusion compared to metal braces. With clear aligners, we are able to more accurately map out the movement of each tooth, resulting in more predictable movements, and better-quality outcomes in shorter time frames.
